But unless you're looking to shave an extra second or two on your trip across the whole map, or just absolutely do not ever want to press the 'calm horse'-button, you'll never really notice any difference. Are you rocking the absolute topmost stats? No. My personal recommendation is either any saddle with hooded stirrups (50% drain rate and +2 speed and acceleration) - or if you (like me) dislike the look of those stirrups, just about any saddle from the 'special' category will give you the same stats with some really neat looks. That said - those stats are overkill, and the saddle is really not looking all that great. Statwise best if the nacog saddle - no other can match the 85% drain rate, and it's the only saddle in the game which adds 1 to speed and acceleration (for a total of 3).
